TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
ALPS-/AUSTRIA-PRO TOUR 2010 / LYONESS-OPEN
May ; 6th – 9th 2010
GC Gut Freiberg, Gleisdorf
Stroke Play over 72 holes
Played in accordance with the Rules of R&A Rules Limited, the 2010 European Tour Conditions of Competition and Local Rules (Alps Tour Regulations) and the Local Rules of the GC Gut Murstätten as laid down by the Championship Committee.
Total Field Size: 132*
- 60% Alps-Tour-Field: 80 players(Cat. 0, 1, 3 – 8)
- 40% National Field: 52 players (AT-Cat. 2):
* under special circumstances 6 amateurs may be added to make up a field of 138
FORMAT:
72 holes Stroke Play / 18 holes a day. Cut after the second Round:
- The first 40 professionals and ties for the 40th place
- Amateurs who qualify within the top 40 or ties, will be added to the field.
In case of a tie for the first place after completion of the 72 holes, sudden-death play-off
(holes 1, 18)
ENTRY & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
- Entries for the Lyoness-Open close Thursday, April 22nd, - 18:00h

All competitors must register their intention to play till Tuesday, May 4th, 6.00 pm local time with the Tournament Office on site.
- Entry fees : € 120 for professionals and amateurs
€ 85 for AT-members only
PRACTICE
- The course will be available for practice on
Tuesday, May 4th, from 07:00h till 18:00h (Tee 1 only) and
Wednesday, May 6th, prior the Pro/Am, from 07:00h till 09:30h (Tee 1 and 10)
- Practice times Wednesday only must be booked through the Club Secretariat:
Tuesday from 07:30h onwards
- Practice Range opening times are:

Tuesday, Wednesday - May 4th/5th - 06:30 am – dusk
- Thursday - Sunday - 1 hour prior the first tee time to dusk
Range Balls free from May 4th onwards.
“LYONESS Open - PRO-AM
- The tournament Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday, May 5th, SHOTGUN start at 10:00h
- A total of max. 24 professionals will compete, ½ the field AT-players,1/2 National field.
- A team consists of one professional and 3 amateurs with the best net and the best gross score per hole counting.
- Appearance money: € 85,-/pp
- All participants are invited for a BRUNCH at the club from 08:00h onwards
- After end of round, app. 16:00h, grill-party in the club
- Prize-Giving during Cocktail-reception at 20:00h, followed by Players’ Party at the
“Rossini-Club” in Gleisdorf!
MEDICAL
- Doctor on call, first aid available.
CADDIES & TROLLEY PULLERS
- No caddies, but app. 80 trolleys are available on site, free of charge
PRIZE MONEY € 66.000 and Hole-in-One-Prize (Harley-Davidson XR1200)
- The Tournament prize money of € 66.000 will be remitted by the AT office in Paris.
- There is a withholding tax of 20% for non-residents.
- Please find attached a prize fund breakdown.
- Hole-in-One-Prize at hole 9: Harley-Davidson XR1200 for first hole-in-one by a professional
(amateurs: 1 week’s lease)
